Public Announcements are a quick and easy way to let people know about your event. Many newspapers have sections dedicated to these announcements and you can have your announcement listed for a small fee. Save the Date
A ‘save the date’ card can be a great way to announce your event to friends and family and to ensure you will have the maximum number of guests attend your celebration. A ‘save the date’ card is a simple message that asks your guests to ensure that they do not double-book this date. ‘Save the date’ cards can be sent out the moment you decide the date of your celebration, even if you have not picked the venue.
Invitations
Once you’ve set a date and organised the venue, its important to get your invitations out as quickly as possible to ensure that the maximum number of people can share your special day. The type of event you have will help you to decide what sort of invitations are appropriate. For a laid back event, an email or telephone call may be all that’s needed to invite your friends and family.
